NHS members set an example for the general student body population throughout Broad Run by exemplifying the characteristics of integrity, honesty, reliability, loyalty, respect, accountability, fairness, and caring in their every day lives. The Broad Run chapter of NHS strives to encourage and reward students who serve as a model of honorable character not only in a school environment but also throughout the community. NHS students display their generosity of time, reliability, and caring by tutoring students in all areas of study at Broad Run before and afterschool as well as in their study periods during the school day, and by volunteering throughout the Ashburn community, aiding in the effective and efficient running of events.
